New pub theatre coming to Croydon

As reported in The Stage, a new 50-seat pub theatre will be opening next month above the Spread Eagle Pub in Croydon.
Old Joint Stock Theatre Company, which specialises in new writing and has previously built a following in its Birmingham base, will provide programming. More details about their plans are discussed in the article – with any luck this will bring some good new opportunities for new writing to South London.
